When you have issues playing videos on the web, is almost always down to one of two things:
1) Temporary Internet speed problems, which cause videos to stop and start (buffering).
2) Something on your web browser that interferes with the video player.
1) I'm having issues with videos stopping and starting (buffering):
It's an Internet speed issue. Speed issues can happen at any place between your location in the world and where our videos are hosted. So even if videos from other sites play okay, it doesn't rule out Internet speed issues. These issues will usually resolve themselves quite quickly.
If the problem does not resolve itself please get in touch so that we can look into it with SquareSpace (our hosting company).
2) I'm having other issues with the videos, like getting them to play at all or no sound.
This is almost certainly down to a setting on your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox etc) interfering with the video player. Browsers are constantly updating themselves in the background, and these updates can sometimes cause problems; things that previously worked OK stop working, apparently randomly.
The fastest way to resolve this is to use another browser. If you normally use Chrome, try Safari or Firefox. All the main browsers are free and very easy to install, and easily found via an internet search.

The best place to ask questions would be through Moor to Sea Arts Arty Stuff, our private Facebook page.
Either Rob, Siân or another group member will answer your question.
If you are not on Facebook please mail your question to using our contact form.
Unfortunately neither Rob nor Siân is able to give one-to-one critiques of your artwork.
-
The simple answers yes. We would say though that we have chosen materials that will give you a excellent chance of success!
Watercolour is a sensitive medium, and the quality of the materials you use will make a difference to the effects you are able to achieve. You will find our advice on materials here.
One notable exception is that we believe that colour is entirely subjective; if you do not like the colours we have chosen it is unlikely you will like the finished painting. In that case, please feel free to substitute colours of your choice :)

Hmmm…

It is not possible to download the videos. The video tutorials are only available online.

During this initial period we will be selecting videos from our full library to display on the website. To give Members the opportunity to try new subjects and techniques we will be changing the videos over from time to time.
Each video we post will be available for approximately one month from the date it is posted. The date posted is displayed on the video pages.
When a video is due to be taken down one week’s notice will be given on the video page.
In time we hope to increase the video storage on the site so that all our videos will be available.
