Daffodils never fail to bring me immense joy. They are so determinedly cheerful in nature! Emerging early in the year, their brilliant yellows infuse a sunny glow into the garden, even during the dullest of late winter weather. Whether it’s snow, wind, rain, or sun, they dance cheekily and vibrantly, celebrating the arrival of spring with an exuberance that is truly refreshing.

Hardly a year goes by without me being inspired to painted them. It was the cheeky daff peeping out of the group, absolutely refusing to be ignored that motivated this particular painting!
